Dr. Daniel Bienstock brings one of the most rigorous academic and surgical foundations in cosmetic surgery to every patient he treats. A New York native, he holds three Ivy League degrees, a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, an MD from Columbia University, and a DMD from Harvard University.
Following his medical education, Dr. Bienstock completed a full-body Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at the Cameo Surgery Center, accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. During his fellowship, he performed hundreds of surgical procedures across the face, breast, and body, building the clinical depth and precision that define his practice today.
He currently serves as an attending surgeon at New York Presbyterian Hospital / Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where his extensive background in complex head and neck trauma and reconstruction has benefited both adult and pediatric patients.
Dr. Bienstock approaches every consultation as a partnership. Patients know their bodies better than anyone, and his role is to listen carefully, understand each person’s goals, and develop a plan that delivers results that are natural, proportionate, and genuinely theirs.
A lifelong artist who has taught painting for years, Dr. Bienstock views cosmetic surgery as the intersection of science and creativity. That artistic sensibility shapes how he approaches every procedure, not just technically, but aesthetically, with an eye for balance and the subtlety that distinguishes exceptional results from ordinary ones.

Dr. Bienstock lives on Long Island with his wife and five children. Outside of surgery, he paints, exercises, and travels, pursuits that keep the creative and human sides of his practice sharp.
He is also fully fluent in Spanish, providing the same depth of care and nuance to Spanish-speaking patients that he brings to every consultation.
